SHERRI GAGE

Welcome!  Even as a child, the library was always a place of wonder, comfort and inspiration for me.  My family moved often and internationally due to my father’s occupation, and since we were/are all “bookworms”, we’d always seek out the local library as a first, and essential, stop.  Beverly Cleary, Frances Hodgson Burnett, Walter Farley, Charles M. Schulz and of course, the ghost-writers of the Nancy Drew franchise were my earliest “babysitters” :).  I believe passionately that books open worlds and possibilities.

I hold an MA in Instructional Technology, a BA in both Elementary Education and English, and most recently earned a Library Media Endorsement.  Also, I am wife to Jon, mom to Ella (21), Jensen (18),

Winnie and Odin (doggos).  After 25+ years, the always dynamic field of elementary education continues to keep me on my toes, inspire me and remains a passion!  When I’m not in the classroom or library, you can find me hiking,  gardening, or enjoying a good book on my patio.
